Form Comparatives and Superlatives Correctly

Komparasi dibentuk dengan menggunakan -er... than atau more...  than. Perhatikan contoh berikut.

Bob is taller than Ron. (Bob lebih tinggi daripada Ron)
Sally is more beautiful than Sharon.  (Sally lebih cantik daripada Sharon)

Sedangkan superlatif dibentuk dengan the bersama  -est atau most, dan terkadang ditambah dengan in, of, atau klausa that. Contoh:

Bob is the tallest man in the room. (Bob pria paling tinggi di ruangan itu)

Sally is the most beautiful of all the women at the party. (Sally paling cantik dari semua wanita...)

The spider over there is the largest one that I have ever seen.

The fastest runner wins the race. (Pelari tercepat memenangkan balapan itu).
