The portrait was painting* by a famous artist. (Gambar sedang melukis * oleh seorang

The project will finished* by Tim. (Proyek itu akan diselesaikan* oleh Tim)

Dari contoh pertama, kalimat pasif dibuat dengan tidak benar karena menggunakan kata kerja present participle, "painting". Seharusnya, digunakan kata kerja past participle (verb-3), "painted". Sedangkan dari contoh kedua, tidak dimasukan kata kerja bantu (verb-be/to be), padahal beberapa bentuk kata kerja bantu (verb-be/to be) diperlukan untuk sebuah kata kerja asif. Kata kerja yang digunakan seharusnya, will be finished.
